Part I
Hello, my name is Lucas Andre Bogdanski. I am fromMiddletown Connecticut and I have lived there for my entire life. I love
Middletown because it is a small city with a lot of diversity. Although some
parts of Middletown are a little bit run down and poor, it is a very nice city.
I love my hometown because it is full of friendly, Hardworking people. When I
am not at Nichols College I live with my mom and dad an apartment off of Main
Street. My hobbies include lifting, playing pickup basketball, playing
football, and reading. I have worked for my town’s road crew for a year now.
Before that I used to work for the towns nursing home as a dish boy.
As I said before, I am a student at Nichols College. I am a
freshman criminal justice major. I am very excited about the options that will
be open to me in four years when I graduate from Nichols College. Eventually, I
would like to be a city police officer. Some place like New York, maybe Boston
I’m not exactly sure yet. All I know I don’t want to work in a small town with
little action, especially when I am young. Now you’re probably wondering why I
said I eventually want to become a city police officer. This is because I plan
to enlist in the United States Marine Corps immediately after I graduate from
Nichols. Many people ask me why I would ever want to become a Marine if I have
a college education. My answer to that is I have wanted become a United States
Marine ever since I was a kid. I think it is one of the most honorable
professions that anyone can have and I know if I don’t enlist, I will regret it
for the rest of my life.
Part II
One of the classes that I am currently taking at Nichols is
digital applications. I think this class if going to be very helpful. I hope to
learn how to make a blog. I also will learn how to use Microsoft power point,
excel, and word. I hope to also learn how to create a web page. I am also
hoping to learn how to create and edit photos and videos.
Part III
One Blog that i found was very interesting was a blog about
the United
States Marine Core. I thought this blog was pretty appealing because
it has some of the latest news on what is currently going on in the USMC. It
also had many cool pictures, and information on becoming a marine. I thought
that this website was very credible because it was the official blog of the
USMC.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoy reading your blog, I like this kind of town, that is small, but everything is close, I born, and used to live for eight years in a town, with the same characteristics. Your hobbies are good, and interest. Your major sound good, although is danger work in the future, but these kind of person is the future hero for the nation, person who help with the control and order in the cities and towns.
I agree with you in the point of be a marine is an honorable profession. When I was a child my dream was be a police officer, like my father, but unfortunately, in my country the corruption is too high, and in one point, you just live in the sight of all to see if you are corrupt, my best wishes for you, and your blog is excellent and interesting.
I know that part of the homework is put in what I disagree with you, but I really think that you did a good work, and I can not disagree with nothing.
Luke I really liked reading the blog you posted here. It was sweet and simple to understand to the point. I saw maybe one capitalization error, but I thought the blog really showed who you are and where your from. I come from a small town as well, and sports and reading are my favorite things as well. I may not be looking to join the military or pursue a career in criminal justice, but I appreciate those that do, since my grandfather was a police officer in Lowell,MA. Keep up the good work and I cant wait to see what else you post.
