Hello my name is Natalie and I'm from Webster, Massachusetts. I've lived there for most of my life and wish to move somewhere far away some day. Perhaps after I am done with college, I will be able to do that. I'm a freshman commuter at Nichols College and going for accounting as my major. I work at a part time job as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens in Webster. It is a bit challenging but I like challenges, learning new things, and working in this department makes my shift go by faster. Filling prescriptions is my favorite part of the job. I first started as a cashier, then I move up to the beauty department, then photo. I was then asked to work in the pharmacy and I was honored and accepted this promotion. Unfortunately, I spend most of my days working so I don't really have much hobbies. At my spare time however, I like to relax and catch up with my family and friends that I've known for years. Recently my boyfriend has introduced me to rock climbing, and I found it really fun and exciting. It's an awesome workout for your arms and legs and I try to go as much as I can when I have free time. My family is from Ecuador and I enjoy going there for vacations. Last summer I went there and visited my relatives for a couple of weeks. It was wonderful to see everyone again, especially being there with my grandparents. I went to the beach so many times, ate amazing food that my grandmother makes, hanged out with my cousins, stayed at a beach house, and went to a bar because I was old enough to. I can't wait to go there    again next time.

In this class, I hope to learn how to use the wonderful works of Microsoft Publisher and Excel. I've never really used those tools before and I am eager to see what this is used for and have a better knowledge about them.

This blog that interest me contains information about a life of a pianist. I'm very interested in music and playing instruments that creates beautiful sounds. I used to play the flute when I was in junior high and I cherished every moment that I played with it because it was a whole new experience. I enjoyed reading music, learning what the symbols meant, and playing holiday songs such as "Jingle Bells". In the summer, I plan to sign up for piano lessons so I can learn how to play it and play songs on my free time. One day, I would like to invest my own piano and show people my knowledge of playing it. In this blog, it explains how pianists must have a good memory in playing songs and how this teacher encourages his students to memorize their songs while playing.
