Kelly Cusick

My name is Kelly Cusick and I am from WeymouthMassachusetts, one of the many suburbs of Boston. I went Weymouth High School and graduated in a class of 500. I just started my freshman year at Nichols College and have loved every minute of it so far. Growing up I played every youth sport possible; however ice hockey    was my biggest passion and played varsity all through high school. My life was basically in an ice rink for most of the time. I also worked at the famous Pinkberry frozen yogurt shop for three years and a beach bar all summer. The restaurant I worked at was on Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay which was very exciting. I am a hostess and could be replaced by a sign, but being at the beach all summer and getting paid could not be more rewarding. I love spending time with my friends and family. I love trying new things and being very spontaneous. I was never the best student because I had that whole “live for each moment” mentality. I have found coming to college just how important school is and have already done so much better then in high school. Taking classes that interest me am so fulfilling and make it so much easier to work hard. Here at Nichols I am a student ambassador and love giving tours and selling this school because I have already learned so much. I have yet to declare a major; however I know business is the choice to for and cannot wait to pursue it in the future. GO BISON!

As stated I am very passionate about hockey as a sport in general. But when it comes to the Boston Bruins I am a die hard fan!  So I figured I should choose a blog involving the Bruins. I chose this blog because it covers almost every topic, and it shows the NHL draft.  What really caught my eye about this blog is that it gives you a list of the players to select from and all the information about them is right there! When I read this blog I learn about the players and read their story.  I find myself relating to most of the players in different ways.  It brings me back to when I play hockey and to see that the players are also so passionate is admiring.  This blog is credible because it clearly states that it is published, states the author as well as information about him, and is constantly being updated.  The top stories that you might find somewhere else are also included.
